Yes. Connections Education is accredited by Cognia, formerly AdvancED. Cognia offers accreditation and certification, assessment, and professional learning and improvement services to institutions and other education providers around the world. Many of the Connections Academy schools are also accredited by one or more of six regional accrediting organizations for higher education institutions recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the United States Department of Education.

At Connections Academy, there are plenty of ways to build friendships with classmates through live virtual instruction sessions, clubs and activities, virtual and in-person field trips to support socialization, and often even milestone events like graduation and prom.

Because families have more flexibility with their schedules than in a traditional brick-and-mortar school, students can also spend more time on interests outside the classroom, from athletics to the arts, where they can meet new people doing what they love. 

Connections Academy is tuition-free. Just like traditional brick-and-mortar public schools, Connections Academy receives funding directly from your state, allowing us to provide students with a high-quality learning experience at no cost to families. Families are only responsible for school supplies, optional in-person field trips, and in some cases, a computer and reliable internet connection.
